Freedom March 2017

Join the second annual Freedom March as the campus and community comes together to "Bridge the Divides" for unity, equity, and peace in Beloit. We are working to send a bold message of unity between the campus and community to give voice to the richness of the human diversity among us. The Freedom March will begin with a short program at Beloit Memorial High School. We will march from BMHS to the Beloit College campus and end at Aldrich Field for another short program. Parking will be available at both BMHS and Beloit College. Shuttles will operate between the two locations from 9:00-9:45am and 11:15am-12:00pm. Rides departing from Beloit College to BMHS will be available starting at 9:30am from The Wall.

This first weekend of October, Sustainability will be hosting a HUGE rummage sale.
Bring all those sweatshirts that remind you of your ex and make some $$$. Looking for a sweet pair of boots? We got you. Need someone to stitch up the hole in your favorite shirt in exchange for your photography skills? Skill-trade away. Give your things a new life, reduce waste, be kind to each other.
**All unsold items have the option of being donated to Good Will at the end of each day.

Mr. Beloit

Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta will be hosting Mr. Beloit on October 7th at 7pm in the Wilson Theatre. This event is a mock beauty pageant with male and nonbinary contestants to raise money for the Beloit Fatherhood Initiative. The Fatherhood Initiative is a program that helps adjudicated fathers find jobs and develop parenting skills!
There is a one dollar fee to enter this event and an opportunity to buy one dollar raffle tickets in order to win cool themed baskets. All the money raised will be going to the Fatherhood Initiative.

Christopher (Kit) Jones'69 Performance

A performance by alumnus Christopher Mark Jones, whose early musical itinerary included busking in Paris, the English folk club circuit, tours of Denmark and Holland, then electric clubs in New England. He sings soulful country and blues-inflected Americana narratives. His fifth album Incantations was released this year.
